Yellow Diarrhea that makes me nauseous

The last few days I have had yellow diarrhea, it is mostly liquid and a lot of the pieces float. It looks like they have oil in them or something like that because they do not dissolve into the water in the toilet. It is very painful and makes me unbelievably nauseous to the point where I am sitting on the toilet doubled over with my face in a trash can. It is also very gaseous, and every time something comes out my bowels make very loud noises. I started experiencing this when I was at home the morning before my big trip and just thought it was because of something bad that I ate, but I am not at home now, and nowhere near my doctors and I cant figure out what I can do to fix this for the next two weeks until I am able to go to the doctors. Do you have any idea what this is and what I can do about it?

This is a difficult one to answer as you can see on the yellow diarrhea page, there are numerous causes for yellow diarrhea. This needs investigating, but you mention that you are no where near a doctor. The only thing you can do is make sure you remain hydrated so take plenty of water (you can mix this with sugar – 2-3 spoonfuls and one spoonful salt in a tumbler of water). You can also take anti-diarrhoeal medicine if you need to, but I would try to avoid this if you can. Avoid fatty foods as this is likely to make the situation worse for you.
