vitex after depo

I only had one shot of the depo, its been 2 months since my last shot, and I have bleed non stop since which most days its just a light tinge. Just recently in the past couple weeks its gotten heavier (with a few small clots). I heard a lot about the herb vitex (chasteberry) will that help me to stop bleeding and to conceive cause I really want to have another baby.

Vitex

I haven't had any experience of Vitex, but I understand that it is said to work by increasing progesterone by stimulating the release of a luteinizing hormone, a hormone from the pituitary gland. It is also said to normalize excessive prolactin levels and promote fertility, although an unwanted affect is reducing libido in some people as well as other side effects.

As to your heavy periods after stopping your depo, this maybe a temporary problem, but if it continues then it could be due to dyfunctional uterine bleeding or other cause which may need investigating further by your doctor.
