upper abdominal pain and IBS

I suffer from IBS, I am recently getting severe upper abdominal pain when I eat or drink and other times its a dull ache in the same place. Is this related to my IBS?

Upper abdominal pain can occur with IBS, but equally it can occur with many other conditions too. If the pain is occuring during or after food you have to consider other conditions such as peptic ulcer disease and gallstone disease. These can easily be checked and treated if found. Pop along to your primary physician to get this checked.
