Testicular Lumps
by Dan
(England)
I have a few small lumps on the tube connecting to the testicle, they're not painful and only noticeable if I have a feel around the testicle, they're not on the testicle its self and just feel like little hard lumps, I have one on my right testicle tube and 2/3 on my left side one, I was just wondering what this could be, I went to the doctors around 5/6 months ago with this as there were only 1/2 there but I seem to have gotten another one, they said it was just a cyst and they're quite common, should I revisit my GP?
Epididymal Cyst Sounds like you have Epididymal cysts. These are very common and nothing to worry about. Sometime, a varicocele is present. This is where the vein in the scrotum becomes varicose in a similar way to varicose veins on peoples legs. This should be checked as it is associated with infertility. You are clearly anxious about these lumps and it is always advisable to have these checked. Your GP can send you for an ultrasound scan to check this and confirm the diagnosis. This will also give you some reassurance too. Good luck! My name is Dr Peter Thatcher MBBS, MRCPI and I am a consultant physician and gastroenterologist in the UK.
