Benign gastric and duodenal ulceration, chronic gastritis, prevention of stress ulceration, GORD

Contraindications
Caution should be used in renal impairment, pregnancy and breast feeding
Side effects
Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, indigestion, gastric discomfort, dry mouth, rash, pruritis, back pain, dizziness, headache, vertigo, drowsiness
Adult dose
2 gram twice a day or 1 gram four times a day, maximum of 8 gram a day.

Suspension

This drug can be useful in diarrhea and also in people that have reflux associated with a hiatus hernia. Some sufferers can't tolerate the drug due to abdominal cramps.
