Stress and Flatulence. Lower stress, lower flatus.
There's no question that Stress is a huge contributor to one's intestinal flatulence and/or IBS symptoms.
I'm a IBS sufferer for over 25 years, and have tried many things to relieve gas and the symptoms of IBS.
My 'version' of IBS includes pain and urgency along with copious amounts of gas that seems to worsen as the day goes by.
These symptoms (when active), make doing many social activities difficult to say the least.
The things I've noticed help the most, is/are:
Drinking a lot of water as opposed to sodas/coffee. Yoga for stress management. Eating slowly, chewing food thoroughly. Regular use of Psyllium as a fiber solution.
