small white spot on the opening of the vagina

I have recently discovered three small white spots on the opening of my vagina, and in the last week i have been getting think discharge, really bad headaches, been either constantly constipated or had diarrhea, my periods have also been lasting for weeks what could this be?

I suspect the white spots at the vaginal opening are likely to be Candida infection or thrush. This can also cause vaginal discharge. An antifungal cream and pessary will help to clear this up. If it doesn’t, pop along to you doctor or local STD clinic to get this checked.

As for the periods lasting weeks, you should again see your doctor. It’s likely to be dysfunctional uterine bleeding of unknown cause. You might need to consider hormone manipulation or even the Mirena coil, but your doctor will be able to advise on the best option for you.
