slight pain in my forehead and slight numbness in left arm and left leg index finger
by Sheen
(Qatar)
Hello doctor I have slight pain in my forehead and slight numbness in left arm and left leg index finger. It has been persisting for 3 days and I am not having a cold. So I don’t know whether I am having sinusitis or not. I haven’t consulted any doctor. So your answer will be valuable to me. Thank you
You Might Have Had A StrokeI’m concerned by your symptoms. If you have slight numbness in your arm and leg, you might have had a stroke. Strokes can sometimes cause headache, particularly haemorrhage although it can also occur with thromboembolic stroke (i.e a blood clot lodged in one of the cerebral blood vessels). Migraine can sometimes present in this way and can cause numbness and weakness on one side of your body. Brain tumours can also present in this way too. Regardless of cause, this needs to be urgently assessed by your doctor and I would advise seeing them as soon as possible for an examination. You will probably need to have a head scan and further investigations given your history. Never neglect these sorts of symptoms.
