Rash on labia majoria

I have red raised patches on my labia majoria, the rash only just appeared like a week ago but I used to get the odd bump from shaving. I don't know if its a allergic reaction from shaving gel or moisturiser. It's very itchy and sore and gets very inflamed when I get a shower please help

Likely Fungal Infection or Shaving Rash (Dermatitis)

I suspect this is a shaving rash. Other possibilities include a fungal infection or a localised chemical dermatitis from your shaving cream. You could also have a secondary infection going on here. I would suggest trying an antifungal cream such as Clotrimazole cream (or the powder form) first (you can purchase this at Amazon and I have provided the link for your convenience: Canesten Cream 2% Thrush 20g Health and Beauty) and if this is ineffective, a cream such as Trimovate which should cover both conditions.

Try to keep the area dry, but avoid irritants such as chemicals in the bath etc. Avoid shaving the area or using any skin depelants.
