Indications

Benign gastric and duodenal ulcer healing, GORD

Contraindications

Use with caution in liver disease, breast feeding and pregnancy

Side effects

Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, flatulence, abdominal pain, bronchospasm, muscle pain, joint pain, blurred vision, depression, dry mouth

Adult dose

40mg a day usually

Protium is a proton pump inhibitor similar to omeprazole.
