Contraindications
Caution in liver or renal impairment, following GI surgery, in Phaeochromocytoma, in bowel obstruction,in pregnancy and breast feeding. Also caution in children
Side effects
Extrapyramidal effects, High prolactin levels, tardive dyskinesias, drowsiness, restlessness, diarrhea, depression, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, cardiac conduction abnormalities
Adult dose
5mg three times a day usually
