Contraindications
Caution should be used in patients with liver disease, in pregnancy and in breast feeding.
Side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, flatulence, abdominal pain, bronchospasm, muscle pain, joint pain, blurred vision, depression, dry mouth, dyspepsia, urticaria, angioedema, paraesthesia, interstitial nephritis, anaphylaxis, liver enzyme changes and liver dysfunction, blood disorders and bruising, purpura, petechiae, peripheral oedema, fatigue, malaise
Adult dose
Usually between 15 and 30mg a day.
