ibs & pregnancy
by jes
(az,usa)
So right now, this is more of a question if anyone has had a similar experience.
Before my pregnancy I was ibs-c completely. never had diarrhea problems. During my pregnancy, I felt cured! No problems, no symptoms, I could eat anything -- it was amazing! Now 3 wks after delivering, ibs is back, and to me; worse than before becuz now it seems to be ibs-d. possibly alternating but for the past week as soon as I finish a meal my stomach is super cramped and I need a bathroom asap (huge problem with a newborn)
Could it just be all the hormones thats caused the change or am I gonna have to learn this crap -no pun intended- all over again? :/ stressful <-- nd of course that isnt making things any easier!
