How can you cure severe pneumonia? My mom has it. And I need a lot of help. Thanks.

Shereen, sorry to hear about your mother. Pneumonia or infection in the lungs is very common and there are a lot of infections that can give rise to this. They can be split in to mainly bacterial or viral pneumonias and if severe require oxygen and intravenous antibiotics. Keeping hydrated with fluids is also important. The antibiotic choice usually comprises of penicillin such as Amoxicillin with a macrolide antibiotic such as Clarithromycin or Erythromycin to cover atypical lung infections. An alternative would be a tetracycline.

Apart from the above, the other main ingredient to recovery is good care and I am sure your providing that to your mother in abundance. I wish your mother a speedy recovery.
