H pylori suffering

I was suffering from anemia & when I went to doctor he requested stoll analysis & h pylori test & the result was +ve, I took 3 weeks Helicure treatment & I suffered a lot from this strong medicine & then after a week I made a stool test again to check H pylori & the result was strong +ve, the doctor then gave me the triple treatment with antibiotics beside iron but I discontinued this treatment cause I suffered from bad nausea & vomiting, & I moved to other doctor & he gave me controloc 40 mg & riopan tablets beside iron & vitamins injections, I feel better but after a while he requested H pylori test once again & the result was very very strong +ve, I can't go for treatment again cause I really suffered from very bad side effect. Please help me as I don't know what I should do & take to end this headache & if I didn't get the treatment & leave it as is, I will suffer in future from stomach ulcers & cancer.

Helicobacter resistant to treatment

There are multiple different antibiotic combinations that you can have for H.pylori eradication. The common one is Helicure, which contains Metronidazole and Clarithromycin. Clarithromycin is not always tolerated well so this can be substituted with penicillin. If you are allergic to penicillin, this can be substituted with tetracycline or Tinidazole.

Sometimes you need a more prolonged course of eradication therapy. Normally a weeks course is given, but increased to 2 weeks or even an extra antibiotic added.
