clear non sticky liquid from nipple

I'm 23 years old, an unmarried woman getting tiny clear non sticky liquid from right nipple from one dot if I squeeze the dark area near nipple. I consulted a gynaecologist and she said to check a prolactin level. but it came normal 8.75 and my menstrual cycle is normal. Doctor examined my breast and said nothing to worry. I had fungal infection in nipple but after I consult doctor and took medicine it cured it but would it be the reason to get clear liquid. My marriage is going to be held next month. Can I keep sex after marriage? Will it affect my fiancée health? Please guide me and help me. Why is clear non sticky liquid coming from my nipple? Will it will affect my sex life after marriage. I am taking bromocryptin tablet,Ep1000 (primroxoil). I don’t smoke or drink and have no family history.

You can get a discharge from the nipple as a normal phenomenon, but you were right to get it checked. Sometimes the nipple can be stimulated an produce a discharge for example if a bra rubs on it. Your prolactin levels were normal which isn’t consistent with a prolactinoma, a benign tumour of the pituitary gland in the brain. You are taking Bromocriptine which is used in the treatment of prolactinomas so I am a bit confused that you have been put on this drug. It will have no affect on your sexual relationship with your husband or his health apart from the possibility of increased discharge as a result of nipple stimulation. If your symptoms have settled then this is reassuring and I wouldn’t worry too much about this. You might like to question your doctor as to why you are on Bromocriptine though. Good luck!
