Black stools, black stool or black diarrhea known as melaena discussed here!

Black stools are often a sign of upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Known as melaena, there are lots of causes for this black diarrhea or bloody stool. They are esentially dark bowel movements caused by bleeding in the bowel usually. Have you had symptoms?
