Black stools
are often a sign of upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Known as melaena, there are lots of causes for this black diarrhea or bloody stool. They are esentially dark bowel movements. We would like to invite you to discuss your symptoms here as part of a forum on this fairly common problem.
